Jake Knapp is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Clinton, NJ who attends Voorhees. Long and slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow and open stance with a low hand load, has a short inside hand path into his swing, consistent timing, middle of the field to opposite field approach, raw bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. 7.47 runner in the sixty. Has good fundamental footwork in the outfield on defense, works through the ball aggressively with an easy and quick transition into throwing, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with quick and simple mechanics and a compact 3/4's arm slot. Threw mostly fastballs, topping out at 72 mph. Good student.
