2025 PG Jr. National Showcase
Liam Collier is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-0 199 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Locust Grove. Strong and physical build. Left handed hitter, sets up in a medium and balanced stance, simple and repeatable load and trigger, has nice present bat speed with some lift and ability to turn the barrel over, can get into his stronger lower half more, has some projection as a hitter. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has easy athletic actions around the bag, plays balanced and confident, makes accurate throws and lower his arm slot easily, asset on defense at first base. Also worked out in the outfield but is much better suited for first base at this point. Took a turn on the mound, has a low leg lift delivery with a low 3/4's arm slot, compact mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with nice sink and run and some ability to locate to both sides, has been up to 83 mph at PG tournaments in the past. Has good feel for the shape and depth on his slider, also threw an effective change up. Showed pretty advanced pitchability and the ability to throw strikes. Excellent student.
