Clayton Green is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Broomfield, CO who attends Broomfield. Lean and athletic frame with plenty of room to fill, projects well moving forward. Primary right-handed pitcher with a simple and compact delivery, has a live/quick arm and comes from an over the top slot. Utilizes a short and compact arm circle, the operation is clean and repeatable overall. Filled up the zone, threw a heavy fastball with occasional cut and a quality curveball with 12-6 shape and sharp downer action. Kept hitters off balance during his outing and mixed velocities/locations well. At his best when working down the mound (getting downhill), would get rotational with the upper half at times. Projectable player who will continue to get better, good upside on the mound. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
