Max Olivas is a 2022 OF/ with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Lincoln, NE who attends Lincoln Southwest. He has a medium frame with a thick build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Primary outfielder that attacks the ball and fields it off his back foot and off to the side. He has a long arm action and stops his momentum at release. Follow through will help him to add velocity on his throws and staying through the ball will help him to stay on top of it and make more accurate throws. Left-handed hitter that starts in a narrow stance with low hands. He uses a small stride for timing and has a quiet approach. He looks to elevate the ball and has a pull approach. He has quick hands and showed the ability to create carry to the pull side. He stays on balance throughout the process and does a nice job of getting extended. Good student.
