2022 PG Softball KC Scouting Combine - Fall
Jaidan Abel is a 2024 RHP/1B from Urbandale, IA who attends Urbandale High school. Jaidan is not only an athletic two way player, she also is very strong academically as well. Maintains a 3.90 GPA in the class room. On the mound, Jaidan is a right handed pitcher who thows a change up, dropball, riseball and off speed. Overall, very strong build and motion in her mechanics and her pitchers do a great job moving late and staying low in the zone. Her off speed is a great change of speed and change of eye level for hitters. She does a great job keeping this pitch low in the zone and selling it out of her hand. Offensively, Jaidan is a right handed power hitter who has a very quiet approach at the plate. Very smooth and explosive upper body. As she continues to work on utilizing her lower half consistently she will continue to see her power numbers continue to increase. Overall, Jaidan is a very strong athlete on the field and in the classroom. The future is very bright for this strong athlete.
