Dominic Nolan is a 2022 C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Nathan Hale. Slender athletic build with some physical projection remaining. 7.23 runner, runs well for a catcher and is aggressive on the bases. Right handed hitter, hits from an open and upright stance with a short leg lift load, swings hard and is looking to impact the ball, mid field to pull side contact, has some back side collapse and extension out front that creates occasional lift, has strength in his swing and some bat speed. Compact actions behind the plate, sets up low and comes out of his crouch well, receives well out front, can improve his footwork throwing, makes accurate throws. Good all around athlete who will continue to improve.
