Mason Roy is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Millbrook. Tall and athletic young build with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Gets coiled in his delivery with a compact arm stroke in back and a 3/4's arm slot coming through, short stride out front, upper body delivery that hides the ball well from the hitters. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets some good cutting action glove side with it. Curveball was his best pitch this outing, shows good depth and spin and he consistently dropped in for strikes. Straight change up had good arm speed and deception. Strike thrower who will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, has a long and loose swing with full extension out front, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, has good angle and lift in his swing, shows hitting tools to continue to develop. 7.38 runner, has young actions in the outfield with some carry on his throws. Good student.
