Nicholas Tinajero is a 2023 RHP/3B, IF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Bensenville, IL who attends Fenton. He has a tall frame with present strength and room to add more yet. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.77 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that has a swinging knee to chest leg kick and works in line with the plate well. He has a small bend in the back leg when he starts to the plate and could add velocity by utilizing his lower half more. He has a long, circular arm action and fires from a 3/4 slot. His arm is loose and gave his fastball nice life in the zone. His curveball has short break and the tendency to back up on him. His frame and arm looseness projects well on the mound. Secondary third baseman that sits back on the ball and works through his throws. He showed nice softness in the hands and made clean transfers. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even and upright stance. He uses a simple leg lift stride for timing. He does a nice job of working through his swing and rotating his hips. He has an opposite field approach and a downward swing path. Excellent student.
