Chase Caristo is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Apex. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build showing to be projectable. Ran a 7.35 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop showing a good first step. Fields the baseball deep in his stance before showing a clean gather. Quick transfers getting them out of hand in a hurry. Fundamentally sound with good feel for the position. Arm starting to show carry across the diamond. Righthanded hitter starting from a balanced stance before loading weight heavily onto backside. Longer swing path showing to be on time and finding the barrel often. Big pop when he gets extended. Hand-Eye coordination proving to be plus. Outstanding Student.
