Conner Scholze is a 2021 OF/1B with a 6-1 174 lb. frame from Colts Neck, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Recorded a 5.37 second forty-yard dash time. Medium, well-proportioned frame with some present lower half strength. Primary outfielder that uses anticipatory footwork into the fielding process, while fielding cleanly out in front with two hands. Incorporates deliberate pace and actions to get into throwing position, recording arm strength up to 63 mph during drills. Took part in the first baseman's portion of the defensive workout as well, showing fundamentally sound footwork to funnel out in front with good lateral movements to both sides. Recorded arm strength up to 65 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from a slightly closed stance with a high, tight hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates deep, backwards hand load and hover trigger for timing. Intent based swing with whole body effort and rotational lower half. Lofted stroke with upward barrel plane and developing bat-to-ball skills. Will continue to improve with proper refinements to skill set and additional strength. Excellent Student.
