Kyle Roper is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Tappan, NY who attends Tappan Zee. Ran a 7.65 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and young build. Starts from the windup with some present flexibility and athleticism in the delivery. Has a tucked leg lift, falling down the mound and finishing slightly closed at foot strike. Has a loose arm action with developing arm speed, and throws from a high three-quarter slot. Shows command of the fastball at 70-to-75 miles per hour, and mixes speeds well with a curveball at 65 miles per hour. Can land the changeup in the zone as well at 69 miles per hour. Also worked out at third base, showing some good range and long strides to the ball. Has developing footwork, making throws across the diamond at 72 miles per hour. Has a straight stance from the right side of the plate, with a simple and direct path contact. Has a well-timed swing, and uses a middle of the field approach.
