Athletic traits were displayed defensively from the backstop with quality receiving ability and proper footwork to gain ground on strong throws down to second. Transfers crisply and rips the throws downhill to the bag. At the dish, he sets up with tall narrow stance. Moderate weight transfer forces him to hit off his front side which he does well. The bat path is short and direct with ample bat speed. Pull side power is present but not with the lack of opposite field intent. 7.00 60 yard. 2.09 pop. Outstanding student.
