Aidan Bendo is a 2025 1B/C with a 6-2 235 lb. frame from Glen Mills, PA who attends Garnet Valley. Extra-large, broad-shouldered frame with strength present throughout. Primary first baseman, worked through the baseball at a deliberate pace with choppy footwork. Funneled it cleanly, making decent turns and accurate throws across the diamond. Displayed developing athleticism and lateral range to both sides. Secondary catcher, sets up in a wide and squared stance. Could be a bit quicker getting out of the crouch as he attempts to create momentum from the lower-half. Separated into a medium arm path prior to release. Recorded arm strength up to 67 mph from behind the dish with a pop time of 2.25 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide, slightly open stance with a loose and even hand set-up. Utilizes a soft load and simple stride for timing prior to working into a slightly uphill bat path. Has tons of strength in the hands with the ability to create leverage to both gaps. Steps out a bit when striding, resulting in rotational swing mechanics and occasional overextension through the zone. Recorded two loud barrels to the pull-side and another knock to centerfield during live action. Projects for more power with minor mechanical refinement and an increase in lower-half usage. Posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. Ran a 4.37 sec thirty-yard dash. Good student.
