Siddharth Desai is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Monroe, NJ who attends Monroe Twp. Lean build with long levers and plenty of room to add strength. 7.73 runner in the sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher, hybrid delivery from the first base side with a high leg lift. Attempts to create extension as he works down the slope. Good rhythm to the operation with well-repeated movements. Clean arm action into release. Fastball got up to 79 mph, setting up a bigger curveball and changeup with slight fade to it. Projects for an uptick in velocity with additional strength. Secondary outfielder, moves through the baseball well and gets rid of it quickly. Sound footwork with good acceleration into release. Low and online throws up to 77 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a low back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger for timing before working into a direct bat path. Solid barrel skills with some quickness in the hands. Line drive impact to the middle of the field when timed up. More power to project on with added strength. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Excellent student.
