Aidan Coleman is a 2023 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Reagan. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill moving forward. Primary third baseman, fields the ball to side but shows softness to hands, athleticism plays in actions well, shows ability to change arm slot with comfort while retaining arm strength and carry, athleticism showed on the charge play, will continue to refine. Two-way potential, quick take back with plenty of arm speed through the backside, lands online coming down the mound. Works down in the zone, fastball topped out at 91 mph, shows both sink and run when down. Throws breaking ball with intent and shows biting life up to 78 mph; turned over a heavy changeup well up to 81 mph. Nice tempo and athleticism throughout. Right-handed hitter, begins with a straight stance in the box, rotational swing but shows looseness to swing with big extension out front. Ball jumps off of the barrel when squared, tools project moving forward. Very good student. Named to 2021 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
