Jack Millman is a 2024 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends De Soto. Recorded a 7.41 second 60 yard dash time. Long and lean frame with plenty of room to fill out, body projects well. Primary shortstop with quick feet and good feel for the glove, has some smoothness to his actions. Fields the ball cleanly and has softness to his hands on both sides, athleticism stands out. Secondary right-handed pitcher that throws from a three-quarters slot and repeats the delivery well. Fastball has tailing and sinking action that missed bats and produced weak ground balls. Located well to the arm side, fastball proved to be overpowering in this setting. Also showed a curveball with a slurvy shape and both vertical and horizontal movement. Displayed great arm strength and projects well on the mound moving forward. Right-handed hitter with a tall and narrow stance and a high hand set. Utilizes a toe tap trigger and over strides at times. Uphill swing path, will improve as he keeps the barrel in the zone for longer and tracks the ball to the point of contact. Great student. Named to the 2021 Sunshine Midwest Top Prospect List.
