Jackson Miles is a 2025 C/RHP, IF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano Senior. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.64 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, receives the ball out front, polished lower half actions and repeats them well, gets the ball out of glove well, very compact and tight arm action but accurate throws to second base; received well in live action, gets low and blocks nicely. Also pitched, side step into a leg lift up to belt; compact and tight arm action through the back. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with nice running life to arm side, can miss bats elevated up in the zone, best strikes to arm side; showed a pair of secondary pitches, changeup was better of the two with life to arm side up to 69 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and slightly open stance, utilizes a minimal stride moving into contact. Simple movements in the box, short stroke through the zone and stays compact with a linear plane. Strength in hands, remains direct and shows some present bat-to-ball skills.
