Maxwell Clark is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Franklin, IN who attends Franklin Community. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Fast-twitch, speed plays, ran a 6.53 60-yard dash. Didn't work out in the outfield but showed range in game, speed translates and has been up to 92 mph since on the mound. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, balanced base and maintains well through shift and into contact. Clean swing path with present plus bat speed, fires the hips well, consistent line drive contact to all fields. Ball jumps off of the barrel and found it in live action well, sees the ball, flashed lift with strength to pull side. High level tools across the board. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
