Nick Wilson is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-5 189 lb. frame from Odessa, FL who attends Calvary Christian. A taller extra-large frame. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who took to the mound and repeated his mechanics real well working down the mound. He utilizes the lower half well in his movement down the slope. He worked all 4 quadrants of the zone well and was effective in his locating. Pitched from a high three-quarters arm slot. His fastball was up to 80 mph. The breaking ball was in the upper-60s that had a 12/6 shape to it. Had some horizontal & slurvy looks to it at times. He commanded the zone well overall and threw a ton of strikes. A right-handed hitter with an inside path to the ball with the barrel. He uses an inward toe-tap getting into his stride. Gets the hands to it working inward and was able to work to the pull-side during his round of BP. Produced an 81 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also worked out as a first baseman. Fields it with two hands out front and funnels into his throws. Threw 79 mph and had good feeds on his throws. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
