George Foussianes is a 2022 2B/C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Short Hills, NJ who attends The Pingry. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.21 seconds. Hits from open stance with slight crouch, hands low and tight, front elbow works up and around in load, stays connected well through swing, line drive plane, good barrel accuracy, consistent contact skills, will improve impact as he gains strength. Primary infielder, makes the plays, hands work well out front, shows some lateral agility and range, clocked up to 74 mph across. Also caught, two-hand receiving skills, strides out of crouch, extra steps at times, good balance, clocked up to 73 mph with good accuracy. Very good student.
