2020 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Jesuel Fernandez is a 2022 3B/1B, 2B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Polk City, FL who attends Lakeland Senior. He ran a 7.11 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a solid build showing some strength through out. On the infield the glove works out front with firm hands funneling the ball into the midline with a clean exchange, his throws showed good carry across the diamond with accuracy. Right-handed hitter, does a nice job syncing up his load and stride create separation pre-swing, the barrel works flat through the hitting zone as he is able to spare the ball from gap to gap with average bat speed but good feel for the barrel. Very good student.
