Jacob Campbell is a 2023 SS/3B/OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Kleinmachnow, TX who attends John F Kennedy. Medium young build, plenty of room and time to get stronger. Switch hitter, natural right handed hitter, hits from an open crouched stance, lean and lift mechanics, long extension out front with early barrel release, has some young bat speed and handled the barrel well. Has a big drift to his front side left handed, reaching swing with an early hand release, less bat speed. 7.46 runner, is confident with his hands and footwork in the infield and outfielder, developing arm strength, tends to tap his mitt before every throw in the infield thus slowing his release.
