Kellen Strohmeyer is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Dubuque, IA who attends Hempstead. Recorded a 6.67 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing great speed. Large frame, long and lanky build with room to fill, projects very well moving forward. Primary shortstop with good lateral range and solid footwork, has long strides and can cover a lot of ground. Soft hands with good feel for the glove, shows present athleticism, nice round overall. Left-handed hitter with a wide base and open stance, utilizes a small stride forward. Very quiet operation overall but a lot of power comes from it, shows good balance and extensions and hit multiple home runs to the pull side during his round. Has plenty of bat speed with good whip to the barrel, showed the ability to hit the ball to the opposite field with authority as well. Excellent student. Iowa commit.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
