2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Zachary Malvasio is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Sw Ranches, FL who attends St Thomas Aquinas HS. Recorded a 7.30 second 60-yard dash time. Tall frame with broad shoulders, athleticism, and room to add even more to the build. Primary outfielder with a quick release and clean footwork. Longer arm action with good carry into the diamond. Very good arm strength recorded up to 88 mph into the infield. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a loose, quick arm and a high leg lift. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with good lift and got plenty of empty swings. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with good depth to it. Solid two pitch mix at present. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a simple leg lift trigger. Repeats swing well with plenty of right-handed bat speed. Power projects nicely and performed in game all over the barrel. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to UCF. Named to the 2023 Main Event TP List.
