Jaxon LaBrie is a 2020 SS/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Brandon, SD who attends Brandon Valley. Medium frame with as athletic build. Ran a 7.54 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Works around the ball and towards the bag. Fields out front with a funnel into the body. Quickness to exchanges with clean footwork. Smooth arm actions with an on line release topping out at 79 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and high hand set. Has some fluidity to swing through a line drive plane. Creates middle of the field contact with consistency that should continue to improve with added strength. Good student as well.
