Caleb Raisty is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Cedar Falls, IA who attends Cedar Falls. Recorded a 7.51 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lanky frame with room to fill, body projects well moving forward. Primary shortstop with some feel for the glove on the backhand, gets into good fielding positions, developing lateral range and quickness at present. Short arm action with solid carry across the infield at 77 mph. Has the frame and athleticism to really improve. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a simple and repeatable operation, throws from a three-quarters arm slot and pitches from a first base side of the rubber. Long and offline arm action with developing arm speed. Fastball shows occasional arm side run, curveball has 11-5 shape, was around the zone with each pitch. Right-handed hitter with a wide stance and even hand set. Utilizes a small leg lift trigger, busy operation overall, creates good separation in the swing. Tends to get over his front side at times. Impacts the ball well when on time and squared. Will find barrel more consistently as he quiets the approach. Has some quickness in the swing with the tools and physicality to really improve moving forward. Great student.
