PG Grade: 7.5
Chris is a 2005 grad from Placer High School in Auburn California and stands 6'4" 183 lbs. He has a tall, lean build with long arms and legs, slightly sloped shoulders with some good present strength in his lower half. Chris throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with a 81-83 fastball that has some good sinking action down in the zone. Chris's curveball is his out pitch, 71-73 mph with a compact, sharp break. He likes to go to his curveball when he feels he needs to finish off hitters. Chris has a good tempo on the mound and shows a feel for pitching. He mixes up his pitches very well. He's very projectable with better stuff still to come. Chris should do very well at his present level and he should make a impact at the next level as well.
