Lucas Dixon is a 2023 3B/RHP, SS with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Pasadena, CA who attends St. Francis School. Athletic and projectable body. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.94 seconds. Primary 3B that showed plenty of arm to be able to handle the hot corner, his throws topped out at 78 MPH across the diamond. Was able to handle the ball right at him and is still developing his ability to range for balls. Open and wide stance at the plate with a significant crouch as well. Utilizes the lower half throughout his swing. Performed the best on the mound, his FB was 82-84 MPH and he located it to all quadrants of the zone. Showed a breaking ball that averaged 67 MPH and flashed some tightness and bite. Also has a CH in his arsenal that had late fading action and he threw it out of the same arm slot with the same arm speed as the FB. Excellent student.
