Jordan Mize is a 2021 OF/RHP, SS with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Clintonville, WV who attends Greenbrier East HS. Recorded a 7.06 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders and a lot of room to fill out. Primary outfielder who fields off to the side with a longer transition and releases from a three-quarters arm slot. Arm strength recorded up to 80 mph into the infield. Arm strength plays well from secondary position of shortstop. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a side step into a clean break. Well balanced over the back leg and rides it down the slope. Good extension and finish and the fastball gets good sinking action recorded up to 78 mph. Keeps the ball in the zone well and the curveball showed 11/5 shape. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and bent knee stance. Short stride in with a leg lift trigger into contact. Line drive swing plane and best contact comes when he gets the barrel head out. Good student.
