Joe Pasqua is a 2020 OF with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from Williston Park, NY who attends St. Francis Prep. Medium, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout build. Ran a 5.12 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and fields out front, works to an over-the-top release point, effort at release but works on top of the ball well and shows carry out of hand with present arm strength to intended target. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a short stride moving into contact and employs a patient approach. Incorporates hips well through low and stays short with swing path through the zone. Occasionally early with weight shift, shows ability to create loft and has a handle for the barrel, looks to impact the ball at point of contact, shorter finish through the ball. Good student.
