2022 High School All State Select Championship (2025-2026 Grads)
Nick Papciak is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Wesleyan Christian Academy. Medium build with a taller frame. Higher set waist. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. The primary shortstop fields the ball off to the side, showing the glove early, working into a clean funnel. Throws were across the diamond at 80 mph and recorded outs. A right-handed hitter with some smoothness to his stroke. He starts with an even base and hands tight to the chest. Uses a hanging leg lift trigger, creating a steeper path to get the barrel to the ball. Had some strength showing in his swing with consistency to his contact. Picked up a nice base knock during the games as well. Also jumped up on the mound as a right-handed pitcher who showed off some arm speed present. A pretty sound delivery overall with a side step into a belt-high leg lift. His fastball was up to 83 mph and also showed a good changeup with late fade to it. Showed a developing breaker with some good depth to it. Punched out 2 opposing hitters over 3 innings of work. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
