Mason Hartman is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Maryville, IL who attends Collinsville. Recorded a 7.78 sixty yard dash. Solid medium frame. Primary left-handed pitcher with an above the belt leg lift. Controlled movements in the delivery with a three- quarter arm slot with a clean arm action. Fastball was 80-83 with late arm side run. Fastball comes from the mound with a steeper downhill plane. Showed good feel for the slider that he was able to get good efficient spin on regularly being around 2500 RPM with sharp break. The slider shows the traits to be a swing and miss out-pitch. Effective pitch combination that can be thrown for strikes. Secondary outfielder, who charges with intent and shows fundamental footwork. One-handed fielding off to the side. Some momentum getting through the ball. Intriguing pitcher from the left side. Good student.
