Logan D'Amore is a 2026 1B/RHP, C with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Melissa, TX who attends Melissa. Medium, broad shouldered frame with some present strength on build. Ran an 8.01 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, shorter arm action and gets it out of glove well, young footwork away from bag will continue to refine, shows accuracy on throws across the diamond. Lower set behind the plate, receives the ball out front, gets tall at release and can continue to incorporate additional lower half, accuracy on throws. Also pitched, side step moving into a high leg lift, gathers on backside, long arm action through the back side working to an extended three-quarters release point, effort at release. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, will continue to develop a consistent release point, short life to the pitch, tends to slow arm action on off speed pitches, pitched to contact and got some weak contact. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and bent knee stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Stays short to the ball with hands, works on a linear path and shows quickness and strength in hands. Static load at start of swing, works to the middle and pull side parts of the field consistently, can continue to incorporate additional lower half in swing.
