Drew Moss is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from College Park, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Long and lengthy build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a longer arm action from an over the top slot. Methodical motion, creates good downward angle to the plate with his fastball up to 74 mph. 12-to-6 shaped curveball has a larger shape with some depth and developing bite. At first base, stays in front of the ball well and shows solid comprehension for his footwork off of the bag. Makes accurate throws to all bases. At the plate, uses an upright and open stance with a closing stride trigger. Stays tall on his backside, stands to gain more pop through his linear weight shift. Looks to use the middle of the field. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
