De'Sean Rogers is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Dundee, FL who attends Winter Haven Senior. Medium athletic build with good projection. Ran a 6.83 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with loose and comfortable actions, funnels it cleanly with a good arm that generates low and on line throws that project well. Also pitched at this event using simple movements and loose actions to extend well to the plate with whip to release and generating short life to the fastball with feel for a good spinning, downer breaking ball that got swing and miss from depth through zone. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide with high hands and a high back elbow, stays short to contact and can turn the barrel over generating line drive contact to the middle and pull side. Great student.
