Blake Campbell is a 2020 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Castle Pines, CO who attends Valor Christian. Young and skinny frame, lean with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.06 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, takes short steps to the baseball with fluidity present in his actions, fields out in front in a nice gathering position, decent range to either side getting rid of the baseball quickly through exchange, compact arm action with playable arm strength and accuracy. Lefthanded hitter, wide base, toe tap trigger, good weight shift into contact, some bat speed present in swing, developing feel for the barrel, the ball comes off hard when squared, hits the ball deep into the hitting zone working mostly to the opposite field but did flash the ability to turn the barrel over and work to pull as well. Outstanding student.
