Jake Margolick is a 2020 SS/RHP, MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Highland Park, IL who attends Highland Park. Medium and young frame with plenty of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.28 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the baseball with two hands out in front, made all plays in drills with a smooth funnel, could utilize lower half more into release gaining ground to his intended target with developing footwork, quick arm action up to a sidearm slot, average arm strength that topped out at 78 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, takes arm back to a full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, throws with intent and a high front side lever as the arm comes through, fastball topped out at 75 mph, mixed in a developing curveball. Righthanded hitter, wide based set with a high hand set and a high back elbow, casts hands at load, balanced stroke flashing quickness to his hands, compact swing with some feel for the barrel, will improve strength with maturity.
