Ben Riddick is a 2021 C/OF, RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Manassas, VA who attends Osbourn Park. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects to support additional strength. Primary catcher with a low, balanced stance while receiving the baseball. Flashed quicker footwork while working out of crouch. Efficient glove circle at exchange and released form a compact three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 77 miles per hour. Best workout pop time of 1.93. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Primarily looked throw barrel head to contact while swinging with intent. Utilized a mid field approach but flashed solid speed while turning on the ball to pull side as well. Very good student.
