Cade Goldstein is a 2025 C/SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Hidden Hills, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.72 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has sound fundamental actions, plays light on his feet and in rhythm, polished glove actions, solid arm strength and makes accurate throws, high level middle infield defensive tools. Also worked out behind the plate, would have a chance there with work, has quick feet and hands and gets into position to throw well, makes accurate throws when in sync, needs repetitions but the feel and athleticism are there to develop. Left handed hitter, hits from a simple and repeatable start and load, few moving parts, easy high contact swing, has quick and strong hands, hits firm line drives to all fields and flashed some mid field pop. Good student, verbal commitment to UC Santa Barbara.
