Garrett Ziegler is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Oak Ridge. Ran a 7.55 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall, slender frame that has plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Starts from the windup, with a small side step into a belt high leg lift. Has tall and fall actions down the mound, landing with good linear direction at foot strike and getting good extension over the front side. Has a long and loose take back with an over the top slot, attacking hitters with a heavy fastball that has natural cut at times at 78-to-81 miles per hour. Curveball has big shape and short depth at 66 miles per hour, and there is good tempo to the delivery with excellent mound presence. Secondary outfielder that has a slow and deliberate approach to the ball, attacking the ball to close and playing through the fielding actions with good momentum. Shows some present arm strength, making accurate throws to bases at 81 miles per hour. Has a middle of the field approach at the plate, with a line drive barrel plane that flashes some pop to the pull side. Has a direct path to contact, and creates some leverage in the lower half that pairs well with present bat speed.
