Jake Torres is a 2026 C/1B, OF with a 5-7 180 lb. frame from Pico Rivera, CA who attends St. John Bosco. Physical build with big size and strength to the frame as he continues to fill out. Ran a 7.89 in the 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, stays low in crouch and gains subtle ground. Uses the arm out front with a quicker transfer and developing arm strength. Solid accuracy on a line. Right-handed hitter, medium base and closed stance. Leg loads to letters with solid loft to the path that can continue to develop. Has some feel for the barrel with promising strength gains in store. Excellent student.
