Dawson Whitefield is a 2019 OF/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Rome, GA who attends Model HS. Medium and athletic frame. Ran a 7.52 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, young actions to the baseball with developing footwork, lower half needs some refining into release, average arm strength with accuracy to the bag, topped out at 75 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a high hand set, starts swing with a high leg lift trigger and a bat waggle at load, flashed quickness to his hands, swings with intent and looking to drive, best contact worked to the middle of the field on a line, will improve with additional reps at the plate. Great student.
