Brooks Eaton is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Springfield, MO who attends Kickapoo. Eaton worked out from a variety of positions throughout the weekend, using a medium projectable build with plenty of time to fill out and add strength. From his primary spot behind the dish, Eaton started square and displayed soft hands to receive the ball and release with repeatable compact mechanics. He successfully gained ground towards second and produced accurate throws on the bag. From the IF, Eaton worked through the ball well and flashed the ability to field on the run. Expect arm strength to increase in the future. On the bump, the righty kept the delivery simple and clean, getting downhill in line well from a 3/4 slot. The FB showed slight cut to it up to 67 mph with an 11-5 curveball to pair. Offensively, Eaton started from a wider stance with a big stride to generate weight shift from the lower half. He swung with intent to lift the ball, going oppo for some line drive contact. Ran a 8.07 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
