Brighton Taylor is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Mount Dora Christian Academy. Tall and physical frame with present strength on the build. Ran a 7.68 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a short rocker step, maintains god tempo throughout his delivery while staying online to the plate, uses his lower half well, takes arm back to a compact arm stroke up to a high 3/4 arm slot, cuts extension short at times, best command comes when releasing out in front on time with his arm through the arm circle. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some armside run and sinking action, mixed in a curveball with 11-to-5 shape and flashes of good depth, flashed a slider as well with developing spin in the low-70s. Secondary third baseman, took reps in the infield fielding the baseball out in front bending at the waist, loose arm into throws with young actions and footwork, topped out at 75 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a low hand set, drifts into contact with some strength, pull side line drives were his best contact during his round of batting practice. Good student.
