Nick Ammirati is a 2009 C from Seton Hall Prep, residing in Sparta, New Jersey, with a solid 5'8"/165 pound frame. Nick was named to the Top Prospect Team. He is a switch hitter that hits from a slightly open stance from the right side. He has solid bat speed with good hands. Ammirati has a knee lift trigger from the left side with a solid approach. He looks to pull the ball as a left handed hitter. Nick has a quick release from behind the plate with a good transfer. He has an accurate arm with a 1.92 pop time and moves well behind the plate. Nick is an excellent student.
