Taylor Swails is a 2021 SS/3B, 2B with a 5-9 133 lb. frame from Stuart, VA who attends Patrick County HS. Recorded an 8.17 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and look with plenty of room to add strength and continue to develop physically. Primary shortstop with some carry on his throws across. Reads hops well and moves well laterally. Deliberate actions with currently developing arm strength across. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and a high hand set with a high back elbow. Small toe tap trigger into the shift through contact. Spread open stance with the ability to go to all fields. Currently opposite field oriented approach. Flashed the ability to create line drive contact and should continue to improve as he adds strength to the build. Great student.
