Bryson Mitchell is a 2021 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Alexandria, VA who attends Hayfield Secondary. Ran a 7.33-second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a strong and physical frame. Has an aggressive approach to the ball, playing through the fielding process with some extra steps to throw and present arm strength up to 84 mph. Also worked out at first base, showcasing more comfortable actions to field and some good footwork. Has similar arm strength up to 81mph. Right-handed hitter that starts from a wide spread and even stance, flashing some whip to the barrel and the ability to find the barrel for hard contact with some consistency. Dives over the plate but throws hands at the ball well. Secondary right-handed pitcher that starts from the windup with a small side step into a leg lift that reaches above the belt. Has slight drop and drive actions down the mound, landing online and before falling slightly glove side at release. Comes from an over the top slot, flashing some arm-side run to the fastball up to 80mph. Shows some feel for a tight slider in the low-70s, with some tilt and sweep across the zone. Shows a changeup as well, getting around it at times for some cutting action at 73 mph.
