Justin Taylor is a 2018 C with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Dripping Springs HS. Recorded a 7.44 60-yard dash. Strong frame with present physicality and strength with room to add more. Primary catcher with a quick release behind the plate and solid arm strength; recorded pop time of 1.95. Gains ground well with online throws and quick feet. Showed strong catch and throw skills during games and threw out multiple runners. High hand set and and a pull side approach at the plate. Has strength at the plate with consistent line drive contact to the pull side. Has raw power and that flashed during batting practice and in game. Outstanding student.
