Aiden Simpson is a 2020 C with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Lebanon Trail. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.78 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with balanced set, engages hips well into load, hands stay stationary, compact hand path through the zone, middle-opposite field approach, short stride into contact, shows ability to make consistent contact. Worked out behind the plate, simple footwork out of crouch, gets inline with hips and throws downhill, good accuracy on throws with consistency, smooth transfer, quality hands when receiving, clocked up to 66 mph on throws. Very good student.
