Curtis Bonner is a 2022 C/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.62 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his legs well as he flashes some athleticism. Receives the baseball out front and has a good feel for the strike zone. Showed some urgency on throw downs as he got them out of hand quickly. Arm strength showing with throws on target as he recorded a 2.09 second pop time in drills. Righthanded Hitter, with a relaxed stance before he works into a low leg lift and stride. Slightly open at contact as he flashes a linear swing path. Drives the baseball back up the middle with consistency. Also proved he has some pop gap to gap when he jumps on one. Mechanically sound swing that will only get better as he fills out physically.
